some jobs u know u'll never like doing

After a short stint of doing various temps for 2 weeks, I've come to conclude that there are just some jobs u should decide never to do. Was practically staring into blank space, the pens, the paper clips, the cash register.. being the receptionist at salon espirit, just waiting for the hours to pass to get paid. :/ then the 'updating of database' for this company was actually telemarketing in disguise! U dun have to sell things but u'll get the usual "ok bye" before u even finish ur sentence. so ruuude. But then how ironic is it when u tell some frenz about it and they go 'oh i would so do the same thing to telemarketers...' And I can actually understand. -_^

mm btw, i'm one of the crazy girls paying to watch rain in concert. haha. c'mon if you've seen his videos on youtube, he is good la!

for those who never thought I'd go vietnam...

Well it wasn't one of the places that I really wanted to go first, afterall, I'm still a poor ex-student and currently unemployed young adult, I need to budget. But of course, when your mum asks u along, why would you give up the chance to travel? :D

In the end, I was actually quite excited about vietnam before going, because it's one of the more obscure places that you don't really know much about. Or at least not me. I'm rather suaku la. This was pretty much the idea I've got of vietnam before going.

Surprisingly, I didn't even see much of rice paddy fields in hanoi. This was just a picture I took at an exhibition I saw in one of the temples.

Hanoi's alot like bangkok, except with many more people on bikes and bicycles. Can't find really good buys though, shopping is surprisingly not cheap there. Sadly, most of the time I'm sleeping like nobody's business on the tour bus and that made me very nua to take pics throught out the trip. Felt like I'm spoon fed with a tourist attraction every one hour and bam, it's meal time.

Wasted, made me realise young people like us should really do the exploration sort of travelling while we still can. Taking mrts, getting lost and finding our own way around. Frustrating, yes. Tiring, yes. Alive, yes.

autumn in singapore

Just love the wet weather we've been having for the last few days, feels as though our little island has its own seasons. Gloomy and overcast skies..... it's so london. oh I miss london.

On a very different note, I'm actually listening to nirvana now. !!?!?!??! that is soooo not me. it's all rockstar supernova's fault. can't believe i only caught the bug when the show is ending though. BUT I STILL LOVE U DILANA! *shouts* (cos rockstars DON'T scream)

Lovely Dilana.

Wished I had a coarser voice so I could rock. Hah. Form a band, anyone? ;p

farewells..

Thanks for the really lovely farewell gift girls, I can't stop flipping through the book. =)

Sigh, there's just this sinking feeling. This feeling you know that no matter how, things will just never be the same again (despite gatherings). I'm going to miss the tuesdays, thursdays/fridays and sunday trainings sooo much, my life for the past 4 years. I wonder what's going to fill that hole. And all the girls... u guys are really colourful and lovely in your ways. I'm gonna miss u guys a big big lot. I'm really happy that u guys finally got the gold u wanted too, u guys deserve it!!

Continue our mahjong, JB, clubbing and maybe ktv sessions ok??

I 'heart' u girls. =)

Grad joys

There were definitely moments that made me wonder why I signed up for all the stress and sleepless nights. But it's probably all the craziness that's making me relish in a bit of satisfaction from this cert right now. Thank god, it's really OVER with a HUGE sigh of relief =)

Yay! =)

On another note, I'm so happy we made it to the next round for polo today!! No silly mistakes and nothing to feel bad over, that feeling's great :D Let's do it again next week! no regrets!
